Our most frequented playgrounds near our home

I intend to take pictures to make a flip book for my toddler, and when I do I will make more detailed blog posts about each playground.   We definitely venture outside of our immediate area frequently, to go to playgrounds elsewhere in the city and the suburbs, but when you have so many great playgrounds within 2 miles of your home, it's easy to stay close by.   We are a family that lives in the city without our own fenced backyard, so we spend lots of time at playgrounds.

1.  Allen's Lane Playground 601 W Allens Ln Philadelphia, PA 19119
This playground I find kids of all ages can play for ages, as it's a more natural setting and there is space to run around and shade.   (Or ride little kid bikes on the tennis courts)

8.  Henry School Playgrounds 601 Carpenter Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19119
There are two playgrounds here.  The main playground is visible from Greene St and the kindergarten playground is behind the school off of Carpenter Ln.

This school is in W Mt Airy near all the shops of "Mt Airy Village" like Weaver's Way, High Point Cafe, Big Blue Marble Bookstore, The Nesting House.

* There are sandboxes at the Lutheran Seminary Playground, Water Tower Rec Center, and Jenks & Houston school playgrounds
